Sales Development Representative

Lehi, Utah

We are obsessed with the hero's journey at JobNimbus. Every person has a hero's journey. Hermione Granger, James T. Kirk, Frodo Baggins, Anna & Elsa, Nacho Libre, and even YOU! This is our "call to adventure" to come check out JobNimbus. What do you have to lose? You might make a few new friends, learn about a new company doing some amazing things, and maybe you'll even land a new job!

Mission

Be the spark that starts the fire. As an SDR at JobNimbus, you are the driving force behind our sales pipeline, the first voice contractors hear, and the reason our Account Executives get to do what they do best. You'll connect with roofing and contracting businesses, uncover what's slowing them down, and show them how JobNimbus can change the game for them. Speed, grit, and genuine curiosity are your best tools on this quest.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build pipeline proactively through outbound prospecting (calls, texts, email, LinkedIn) into contractors and roofing businesses
  • Move fast on inbound interest, qualify leads quickly, and book high-quality demos before the window closes
  • Own discovery by asking sharp questions to uncover pain points and determine fit
  • Set Account Executives up to win with clean context, strong qualification, and seamless handoffs
  • Hit your daily activity targets consistently, including dials, texts, and pipeline goals
  • Test and refine your messaging, study your conversion rates, and always be optimizing
  • Keep your CRM clean and disciplined so pipeline tracking is accurate and visible

What Makes You the Hero for This Job

  • You have experience in sales, lead generation, or high-activity roles and you have the track record to show for it
  • You are fearless on the phone and bring real energy to every conversation
  • Rejection does not slow you down, it fuels you
  • You are competitive, goal-oriented, and love beating your own benchmarks
  • You are curious, coachable, and always looking to sharpen your craft
  • You communicate clearly, build trust fast, and leave people better than you found them

Superpowers

  • Customer Obsession. Every call and every email is about understanding the contractor's world, not just hitting a number. You lead with value.
  • Extreme Ownership. Your results, your pipeline, your outcomes. You do not wait to be told what to do and you do not look for someone else to blame. You just get it done.
  • Self Awareness. You’re open to feedback without defensiveness and use it to get better quickly.
  • Proactive Learning. You treat sales like a craft. You seek feedback, study top performers, and stay sharp on tools, trends, and best practices without being asked.
  • Team Commitment. You know that SDR success is a team sport. You partner closely with AEs, share what is working, and help build a culture of winning.

Your First 180 Days

Within your first 30 days, you will get deep on the JobNimbus product, learn the CRM inside and out, and begin reaching out to warm leads. By 90 days, you will have a sharp understanding of contractor pain points, be consistently hitting your monthly goals, and have your sights set on Diamond Club. By 180 days, you will be a trusted partner to the sales team, contributing insights that make the whole machine run better, and handling objections like a seasoned pro.
