VP of Revenue Operations

Lehi, Utah

We are obsessed with the hero's journey at JobNimbus. Every person has a hero's journey. Hermione Granger, James T. Kirk, Frodo Baggins, Anna & Elsa, Nacho Libre, and even YOU! This is our “call to adventure” to come check out JobNimbus. What do you have to lose? You might make a few new friends, learn about a sick new company doing some amazing things, and maybe you’ll even land a new job!

Mission:

The VP of Revenue Operations empowers contractors to become heroes by building the engine that powers every team serving them. You'll give our CRO and go-to-market leadership a single, trustworthy operating system for pipeline, forecast, and revenue data. You'll also build the systems and process backbone that will carry JobNimbus through our next stage of growth. You'll own revenue planning, forecasting, compensation, GTM systems, and the full customer journey across the Bowtie Model, from first touch through renewal and expansion. If you love turning messy CRM reality into clear decisions, and you'd rather build an automated system than rebuild the same report every month, this is your adventure.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build the bottoms-up revenue plan with Finance, own the capacity model, and refresh territories and capacity every quarter so they stay tied to our ARR targets.
  • Deliver a forecast leadership and the board can trust, running a weekly forecast review with the CRO and driving accuracy into a tight band.
  • Make HubSpot and Omni the single source of truth by documenting and enforcing stage definitions, handoffs, and SLAs, and by holding field-level data accuracy that every metric can depend on.
  • Improve pipeline coverage, win rates, and sales cycle length across SMB and Enterprise, using a structured win/loss process to sharpen our ICP and messaging.
  • Design and publish compensation plans and quotas before each quarter starts, with a near-zero payout error rate, faster rep ramp, and more reps hitting quota.
  • Build and run our renewal and retention motion, owning NRR, logo retention, and expansion attached jointly with Customer Experience and Expansion Sales.
  • Move marketing attribution from last-touch to multi-touch, and partner with the CRO and senior leadership in a monthly roadmap review as a strategic advisor, not an order-taker.
  • Build and lead a RevOps team structured to scale, with explicit career conversations and a hiring bar that holds.

What Makes You the Hero for This Job:

  • 12+ years in B2B SaaS revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM strategy, including 5+ years leading RevOps teams at a scaling company.
  • Proven track record of taking forecast accuracy, pipeline coverage, and data quality from unreliable to board-ready.
  • Deep experience building bottoms-up capacity models, territory plans, quotas, and comp plans.
  • Expert-level HubSpot administration and architecture, plus hands-on experience with a modern BI tool (Omni a plus).
  • Experience building renewal and retention motions and owning NRR, logo retention, and expansion metrics.
  • Experience implementing multi-touch marketing attribution.
  • Excellent executive communicator who can present to a CRO, SLT, and board with clarity and without hedging.
  • Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus: experience with FinTech products (payments, financing, embedded finance) or supporting go-to-market teams that sell to SMB and home services businesses

 Superpowers:

  • Extreme Ownership. You own the numbers behind the numbers. Every metric traces to a named field or source, and you never present an estimate as computed data. When a permission or data blocker stands in your way, you escalate and resolve it rather than working around it indefinitely.
  • Urgency. You move fast and bring your team with you. You'd rather automate a recurring report than build it by hand every cycle, and you know leadership can't wait weeks for answers.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making. You let the numbers guide you. You treat pipeline, forecast, comp, and tooling as one connected operating system, and you use data to hold the entire go-to-market org accountable, starting with yourself.
  • Team Commitment. Revenue is a team sport. You influence without authority, bringing Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Finance to a shared standard. You follow the Bowtie Model so both halves of the customer journey are measured and optimized.
