Senior Director of Demand Generation

Lehi, Utah

We are obsessed with the hero's journey at JobNimbus. Every person has a hero's journey. Hermione Granger, James T. Kirk, Frodo Baggins, Anna & Elsa, Nacho Libre, and even YOU! This is our "call to adventure" to come check out JobNimbus. What do you have to lose? You might make a few new friends, learn about a sick new company doing some amazing things, and maybe you'll even land a new job!

Mission

JobNimbus helps roofing contractors run their businesses. Inbound is how most of them find us, so it’s our largest source of new business. Your mission is to turn inbound into a predictable revenue engine that the business, Sales and the board can plan around.  That means owning the full journey, from the first ad impression to the signed contract. Every lead gets captured, routed to the right rep and followed up quickly. Demand doesn’t hinge on one platform or one bidding algorithm, so you’ll build paid, organic, AI search, referral, partner and event channels that grow together. Success is measured in demos held and closed-won revenue, not lead counts.  You’ll also extend that engine into new territory: a pipeline program for mid-market and enterprise accounts with our BD and Sales teams, and a repeatable playbook for launching JobNimbus in new regional markets. Do this well and you’ll have built the growth foundation for JobNimbus’s next stage, and a team that keeps it running.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own inbound from lead to closed-won. Diagnose the funnel by source and stage, present a plan of attack in your first few weeks, and take accountability for demos held, conversion and new ARR alongside Sales.
  • Fix the foundation. Make sure every form, ad platform and lead source lands in HubSpot as a lead, routed to the right rep within an agreed speed-to-lead SLA. Partner with RevOps so every demo has a source and leadership sees one trusted inbound number.
  • Diversify and improve paid performance. Launch and scale Meta as our next paid engine, grow organic, AI search, referral, partner and event channels, and direct agencies so paid search optimizes to demos held and closed-won, not cheap form fills.
  • Build new growth engines. Partner with BD and Sales on target-account advertising, ABM, and field and partner events for enterprise pipeline. Lead marketing for regional market launches, starting with Phoenix.
  • Lead the team. Develop marketers and agency partners, and brief Creative, Content, Events and Product Marketing so their work is measured against pipeline.

What Makes You the Hero for This Job

  • 8+ years in B2B demand generation or growth marketing, including 3+ years leading teams and agencies. SaaS with high-velocity SMB inbound is strongly preferred.
  • You’ve owned a pipeline or revenue number alongside a sales team.
  • You’ve diagnosed and reversed a declining inbound funnel, and you can show before-and-after results through closed-won.
  • You’ve moved real budget and lead volume into a new paid channel, ideally Meta, and can show the results.
  • You have hands-on depth in Google Ads and Meta: value-based bidding, offline conversions, the Conversions API, Performance Max, and invalid-traffic controls.
  • You’re fluent in HubSpot or an equivalent marketing automation platform and CRM: lifecycle stages, lead scoring, routing and attribution.
  • You’ve built organic or content channels that produced pipeline, not just traffic.
  • You’re data-first: every number you present traces back to a real report.

Superpowers

  • Customer Obsession. Every campaign starts with the contractor. You learn how roofers actually buy software: what they search for at 9 p.m. after a long day on a roof, what makes them book a demo, and what makes them sign. Then you build the funnel around that, not around cheap clicks.
  • Extreme Ownership. You own the number, not just the MQLs. That means demos held, conversion and new ARR. When a lead falls through the cracks, a form isn’t connected, or a channel stalls, you’re the first to notice, you fix it, and you tell leadership before they have to ask.
  • Self Awareness. You know the difference between a story and a result, and you won’t call MQL growth a win when deals are falling. You ask for feedback from Sales, your team and your agencies, own your misses, and change course quickly when the data says you’re wrong.
  • Proactive Learning. Paid platforms, AI search and buyer behavior change every quarter, and you stay ahead of them. You test, measure and iterate fast, and you treat JobNimbus product knowledge as a competitive edge, because the better you know the product, the better you can sell it.
  • Team Commitment. Great demand gen is a team sport. You get Sales, RevOps, Creative, Content and Events working toward the same definitions and the same pipeline goals. You develop the people on your team, hold agencies to a high bar, and celebrate wins together.
