ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Manager at Purpose, you will be the focal person to drive the operations of a US-based campaign. The aim will be to support the successful delivery of our work, while keeping Purpose accountable and disciplined internally. 

The Program Manager will be a central position on the team, managing relationships with our client, coalition partners and other key organizational partners, coordinating the team to deliver in line with multiple deadlines and playing an important role in tracking our impact.

Salary: 

$45-60 per hour 

Time Commitment: 

3-5 days per week, negotiable

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the project lead in partnership development and management, building relationships with program partners
  • Design and implement systems and practices that support communication in person and virtually across stakeholders  
  • Identify stakeholders and attendees for crucial recurring and ad-hoc discussions; capture key decisions and escalate communications (as needed) between Client and Purpose teams to align on expectations, roles, goals, and solutions for roadblocks.

 

Project Management

  • Create and maintain detailed timelines / work plans for all project deliverables and key milestones; hold delivery teams (i.e. strategy, campaigns, creative, freelancers, vendors) accountable to project plans.
  • Work with operational teams at Purpose to ensure the work is supported by and capitalizing on the resources and expertise in-house.
  • Track project budget finances and staff hours consistently and accurately based on the time management system within project budget tracker spreadsheets.
  • Support the Project Lead in preparing kickoffs, weekly client check-ins, and pause and reflect sessions to identify and capture recommendations for future execution.

 

Account Management

  • Manage day to day relationship with key funder stakeholders
  • Coordinate team to develop funder facing reporting materials
  • Coordinate team to participate in sophisticated impact measurement practices

 

Creative Production - Content and Events

  • Lead the creative production including the development of multi-platform film, animation and photography  assets
  • Manage external producers and production partners, developing clear and concise SOWs and holding external partner to account on their deliverables, timings and budgets 
  • In partnership with the project campaign lead, own the overall production schedule ensuring teams are delivering creative assets to spec, timings and budget whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Review assets for consistency and quality and ensure there is a clear routing and approvals systems in place 
  • In partnership with the Project Campaign Lead, own the end-to-end production of small regional events, ensuring all event production requirements are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality

 

About You

  • At least 6 years of experience in account management, project management, program management, organizing, and/or community management 
  • Experience in the social impact space, ideally with community organising or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in creative production and digital marketing
  • A keen eye for detail and meticulous organization skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in and with diverse communities 
  • Interest in or experience working on nature based solutions in the US
  • Proactiveness and proven problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work under pressure in a fast paced organization
  • You are dedicated to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment
  • Eligible to work in the US
