Sr. Litigation Paralegal, Personal Injury

We seek a highly experienced, self‑motivated Senior Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our Auto Accident Personal Injury Division. You will support a significant volume of plaintiff-side injury cases from intake through trial, demonstrating leadership, precision, and client-centered excellence. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake through trial and post-trial resolution.
  • Draft, file, and manage pleadings, discovery responses, motions, complaints, subpoenas, and settlement packages.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and medical appointments.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, bills, deposition transcripts, and other case documents.
  • Maintain rigorous, detailed case records in our case management system and monitor deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and internal teams; provide updates and set expectations.
  • Support attorneys with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, trial binders, and attending trial as needed.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members, helping to foster development and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification (Certified Paralegal, NALA, NFPA, or similar) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ plaintiff‑side personal injury litigation experience, ideally with heavy auto accident volume.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with legal case management software (e.g., TrialWorks, Clio, MyCase).
  • Strong organizational acumen, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Spanish bilingual skills highly valued.
  • Familiarity with e-filing in Texas federal and state courts and prior leadership/mentorship experience is a strong plus.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Houston office, M-F 9-5pm.
