Position Overview
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our Chicago office, supporting attorneys in our Personal Injury Auto Accidents division. This role involves managing litigation cases from intake through trial, preparing legal documents, and ensuring all deadlines and procedures are met. Depending on experience, this position may be considered for a Senior Litigation Paralegal title.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement documents.
- Organize, review, and summarize medical records, police reports, and accident-related documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development.
- Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
- Track and manage litigation deadlines under Illinois civil procedure and local rules.
- Maintain organized and accurate case files in the firm’s case management system.
- Provide compassionate and professional communication to clients throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury (auto accident experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Illinois civil procedure and e-filing systems.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Work Hours
This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Chicago, IL office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
