We are seeking a Part Time Clinical Director to support our team. This role will be expected to work 6-10 hours per week.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Risk Assessment & Case Oversight
  • Review intake questionnaires for risk indicators and assess safety concerns
  • Conduct risk triage and determine appropriateness of clients for services
  • Provide guidance on client assignment based on clinical risk and staff skill level
  • Respond to high-risk case consultation requests from clinicians as needed
Clinical Documentation Review & Consultation
  • Serve as a resource for clinicians seeking support with documentation, treatment plans, or reports
  • Provide clinical judgment and feedback to maintain documentation quality and compliance
Referral Bootcamp Coordination
  • Distribute webinar training content to BCBAs interested in referral development
  • Offer optional 1:1 coaching sessions on referrals and intake best practices
Advanced and Catalight Care Services (Kaiser/CCS) Coordination
  • Prepare for and participate in quarterly CCS meetings (data review, feedback response, quality tracking)
  • Collaborate with CCS partners to identify and address service gaps or process improvements
  • Monitor and ensure completion of 90-day competency assessments for new BCBAs
Diagnostic Evaluation Oversight
  • Complete Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDE) as needed
  • Provide supervision for psychologists completing diagnostic evaluations (if program is active)
Risk Flag Follow-up
  • Contact clients who endorse suicidal ideation on PHQ-9 to ensure safety before their first appointment
  • Monitor and respond to PHQ-9 Flag Sheets in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or related field (required)
  • Licensed Psychologist (required)
  • Experience with risk assessment and high-acuity populations
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and working with BCBAs/RBTs (preferred)
  • Strong documentation and quality review skills
  • Experience working with external partners such as Kaiser, CCS, or similar systems (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical judgment, and communication skills
Preferred Competencies:
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and case management skills
  • Comfortable in both clinical and administrative functions
  • Experience with virtual platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, and EHR systems

Compensation: We are paying an hourly rate of $120/hr. It is anticipated that this role will need 6-10 hours per week.
