Social Editor Internship- Spring 2026

Job description

Jomboy Media is seeking an NYC-based Intern to join our fast-growing team of trendsetters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make an impact in a hyper-growth environment. This person will work with our content creators and social team on a daily basis. We are in-office and expect all interns to be either at our NYC office or the Warehouse in Jersey City on their assigned days. 

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms. 
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of Jomboy Media’s brand, voice and audience.  
• You are here to get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone wears multiple hats. 
• You are organized, creative, a good communicator and a team player. 
• Able to work out of either our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the content and social teams with various tasks & projects.
• Work with content creators to identify clips to be made for their social media accounts.
• Customize content and clips for individual creators and brands.
• Stay up to date and watch all current shows, looking for short-form content that can be used for YouTube Shorts, Instagram and X.
• Present all content loggings and findings in an organized fashion.
• Contribute new and creative ways to engage our community members through our digital content and social channels.
• Help maintain & update any analytics as needed.

We highly encourage all applicants to have a basic understanding of all Adobe applications such as, but not limited to,  Premiere and Photoshop. 

*Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
