Production Internship - Summer 2026

Job description

Jomboy Media is seeking a NYC-based Intern to join our fast-growing team of trendsetters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make an impact in a hyper-growth environment. This person will work with our content teams and engineers on a daily basis. A successful candidate will be familiar with our flagship brands, especially Warehouse Games and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and work collaboratively.  We are in-office and expect all interns to be either at our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City on their assigned days. 

• Start date: Mid to late May

• End date: Early August 

• Hours per week: about 20-30

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms. 
• Experience in a studio setting and comfortable setting up production equipment such as microphones, speakers, and cameras
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and a strong attention to detail.
• You are here to get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone wears multiple hats. 
• You have experience in live events, sports production or theater. 
• You are knowledgeable when it comes to video, audio and lighting signal flow
• Able to work out of our Warehouse in Jersey City. 

Responsibilities May Include

• Build custom Ethernet and SDI Cables for cameras.
• Working alongside and shadowing our Broadcast Manager with tasks such as taking inventory of all gear at the warehouse, software updates for any machines and maintaining prop organization
• Opening the studios, setting up the equipment and preparing the room’s aesthetics for the shoots for the day
• Assisting the Broadcast Manager in striking the previous set and building the new set for the games
• Assisting with audio and/or cameras for warehouse shoots 

*Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
