Associate, Investment Operations
Portsmouth, New Hampshire
We are looking for an exceptional Associate in our Portsmouth, NH office to support the buildout of the firm’s Investment Operations function. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Operations, Investment, and Advisory teams to provide premier client experience. The Role
This dynamic role will help shape Jordan Park’s Investment Operations function to execute on the responsibilities associated with the operational processing of trading functions and will play a vital role in problem solving for opportunistic client situations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring of trade settlements and resolution of discrepancies
- Support of existing trade workflows and development of enhanced solutions
- Connect daily with the traders, portfolio managers, and other internal business partners
- Effectively maintain relationships with external service providers, custodians and administrators
- Provide monthly reporting of metrics including analysis and innovative ideas for process improvement
- Collaborate with leadership and advisors to support firm-wide or client specific initiatives
- Develop, implement and maintain operational procedures to mitigate operational risk
- Assume other responsibilities as required
About You
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of direct experience working at an RIA, mainly supporting middle/back-office functions
- Have a process-oriented mindset and like enhancing workflows
- Take a wholistic approach to decision making, always putting the client experience first
- Are well-organized and deadline driven
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Enjoy working on multiple projects and have a strong sense of prioritization
- Know when to escalate issues and work with your manager to problem solve
- Thrive while working in a team environment and enjoy helping others
Also considered, but not required:
- Experience with Fidelity, Schwab, or other custodians
- Experience with Addepar or other similar data aggregation tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
