We’re looking for a sharp Producer to join our award-winning Immersive team at Journey’s Squint/Opera studio in New York!

About the Role:
This role will involve project managing a broad range of projects, from strategic planning to content and media production. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our clients, including major international developers, architects, cultural institutions, and visitor attractions. The producer will be responsible for delivering large and small-scale projects according to brief, timelines, and budget, managing both creative and technical teams in-house and externally. Due to the nature of our projects, it is ideal to have a background in producing immersive, experiential, or museum content, short-form films, and managing both creative and implementation/production teams.
- Owns a slate of projects and manages the team on the day-to-day and the client relationship, with support from the Lead Producer, Project Director, and Creative team
- Communicates a clear sense of direction and expectations clearly
- Establishes strong client relations and is the central point of contact for designated projects, attending all client meetings to guide and manage production progress
- Responsible for project budgets between $20k and $2m+
- Plans working schedules and resources in line with production milestones; actively monitoring productivity and quality of output daily
- Regularly updates and manages projects via Squint Opera’s online production tools, including G-docs, F-track, and Smartsheets
- Ensures project milestones and delivery dates are met
- Leads project reviews and team meetings
- Contract and manage contractors and external collaborators based in the US and overseas
- Asses project briefs with HOP and Directors to establish initial pitch presentation ideas and creative/technical concepts
- Creation of pitch documents, quotes, and contracts for new business

- Effective oversight of project logistics, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maintaining high production standards
- Clear communication and management of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
- Build and nurture strong client relationships
- Championing creative output, creating smooth collaboration between internal teams and external contractors, ensuring optimal productivity and output quality
- Proactive identification and mitigation of risks, ensuring seamless project delivery
About You:
Qualifications:

- Demonstrable experience (3+ years) within a relevant agency/production environment
- Experience managing complex/multi-deliverable projects
- Experience managing different types of resources (e.g., designers, editors, developers, etc.)
- Experience managing large project budgets
- Experience with project management tools/software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and efficient
- Experience with Google Docs
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel

- Experience managing digital teams and an understanding of software development
- Familiarity with F-Track
- Familiarity with Smartsheets
- Indesign and Photoshop skills

Salary Pay Range
$75,000 - $90,000 USD
