About the Role

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of scope, timelines, and budgets for a specific project within Journey’s portfolio. You will support and communicate project plans, schedules, and resources offering Technical expertise. You will be embedded with delivery teams, focused on coordination, clarity, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

● Support the day-to-day of internal software development projects, including schedules, task tracking, and resourcing.
● Coordinate project activities and maintain project plans, ensuring progress is visible and risks are identified early.
● Track team tasks and dependencies, helping internal teams and external stakeholders understand timelines and priorities.
● Communicate regularly with internal teams and client-facing partners, tailoring updates to the audience with guidance from senior project leadership.
● Track project financials such as effort and burn, and support forecasting for assigned projects.
● Support teams in resolving day-to-day delivery blockers and escalating broader risks as needed.
● Support the use of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices within projects.
● Participate in project management team discussions and knowledge sharing


Candidate Qualifications & Skills

Required


● Approximately 5 years of experience in software project management
● Hands-on experience working with Agile or hybrid software development methodologies
● Exposure to projects involving multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
● Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style


Desirable


● Working toward a project management certification
● Experience using common project management tools and collaboration platforms
● Exposure to 3D digital workflows such as video games, XR, Digital Twins, CG
animation, or visual effects
● Experience working in creative production environments

Contract: Fixed Term, Project specific

Location: Hybrid, with regular in-person working with the project team at our London Studio/s

Salary Pay Range

£50,000 - £65,000 GBP
