As the Interior Design Project Manager, you will work on a significant project within Journey's portfolio and have the unique opportunity to oversee and deliver this exceptional project from concept to completion. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, you will work closely with clients, architects, and our talented team of designers to create stunning interior spaces that exceed expectations. This is a fantastic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by creativity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Leading and managing interior design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, translating them into creative and functional interior design concepts.
- Coordinating with architects and other stakeholders to integrate interior design with the overall building design, ensuring seamless continuity throughout the project.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure proper implementation of design plans.
- Overseeing and mentoring a team of designers, providing guidance and support throughout the design process.
- Managing project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to foster long-term partnerships and promote a positive project experience.
Candidate Qualifications & Skills
Required
- An experienced design project manager with approximately 10 years demonstrable track record leading complex design projects with key stakeholders
- A master communicator who can easily collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Creative with a keen eye for design but also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- At least two years of experience completing all phases of the architectural design process, including concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction administration.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
- Expert Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape, Revit and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods.
Contract: This is a Temporary Contract for the duration of the project starting at 18 months with view to extend should the project extend.
Location: Our Broadway Studio is a hybrid working Studio. This role is based in our New York Studio with regular in person working with the wider team.

Salary Pay Range
$95 - $110,000 USD
