The Role
JPA is actively seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our dynamic and collaborative agency, supporting the Health Tech and Services Team. We are looking for a proactive PR professional with agency experience in the healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this role, you’ll lead day-to-day client work across multiple accounts, help drive strategic initiatives, and actively support new business development.

This position is a full-time, hybrid role reporting to any JPA office (i.e., Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New York City) 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days per week.
The Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Manage day-to-day activities across multiple client accounts, including drafting press releases, messaging, talking points, media pitches, and overseeing scopes of work and budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders through regular communication and collaboration
- Support the execution of integrated PR programs and campaigns, including national and local media outreach, thought leadership, sponsored content, and event or conference participation
- Contribute to new business development by conducting research, participating in brainstorms, preparing capabilities presentations, and identifying organic growth opportunities within existing accounts
About You
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in healthcare communications
- Healthcare Communications experience with drafting press releases, messaging, talking points, and media pitches.
- Strong project management skills overseeing scopes of work and budgets
- Experience supporting accounts and client relationships
- Understanding of earned and digital media role in integrated communication
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, flexibility and professional manner
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and work both independently and as a team
- Understanding of, and interest in, the changing healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented, critical thinking, and a passion for healthcare

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
