The Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop and deploy scalable, future-forward data science solutions using leading technology stacks and principles, fueling innovation across the healthcare spectrum
- Design and implement sophisticated algorithms, pipelines, and architectures that serve as the backbone for delivering actionable insights critical for client decision making
- Architect end-to-end data workflows -- from seamless data ingestion to process automation and intelligence -- illuminating new pathways for business growth
- Build advanced data visualizations, translating complex data into stories that drive action
- Collaborate closely with experts across pharma and biotech including medical affairs, commercial strategy, creative, digital and other client partners to understand business challenges, frame requirements, and drive innovative solutions grounded in data science best practice
- Translate intricate data sets into strategic recommendations that spark change and elevate client impact
- Support cross-functional teams with data-driven solutions that drive strategic business objectives addressing unmet needs via scientific communication, patient education, and HCP/KOL engagement
- Dive deep into customer behavior, marketing performance, and product usage to reveal insights that set new industry standards
- Integrate and analyze data from various commercial platforms such as Salesforce and Adobe Experience Cloud, ensuring our life sciences clients remain at the forefront of omnichannel transformation
About You
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field, with 8–10 years of experience in analytics, data visualization, or strategy roles — ideally within healthcare or life sciences.
- Industry fluency – Experience in an agency or consulting environment working with real-world healthcare data (claims, EHR, social, CRM, etc.) and understanding of healthcare operating models and omnichannel execution.
- Visualization expertise – Proven ability to design impactful dashboards and visualizations that resonate with business and scientific audiences.
- Strategic communicator – Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights to senior leaders, marketers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset – Solid understanding of analytical methods, statistical thinking, and hypothesis testing to shape recommendations.
- Tool familiarity – Experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and comfort navigating platforms like Salesforce or Veeva.
- Collaborative style – Able to partner with technical teams (data engineers, programmers) without needing to code daily, while understanding enough technical detail to guide discussions and ensure solution quality.
- Business acumen – Ability to connect data insights directly to client goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- AI Familiarity with LLM concepts, workflows, and frameworks and how they can be applied to healthcare analytics.
