The Role
JPA Health is looking for a hands-on Video Editor to craft compelling, on-brand video content across campaigns and channels. You’ll own the post-production process from ingestion to delivery, partnering closely with creative, medical, and account teams to bring stories to life, especially within regulated healthcare and pharma environments.
This position is a full-time, hybrid role reporting to our Philadelphia or New York City office 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days per week.
The Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content for campaigns, webinars, live streams, and social media.
- Assemble narrative from briefs, scripts, VO, interviews, and temp music; refine pacing, structure, and story arc
- Design and animate motion graphics (titles, lower thirds, supers, infographics, logo stings) using Adobe After Effects.
- Handle color correction/grading, audio cleanup/mixing, and sound design to broadcast/brand standards
- Operate remote production using StreamYard or Riverside.fm, managing remote guests and live recordings.
- Assist in streaming and simulcasting live events across multiple platforms using Restream or similar software.
- Maintain organized project files, proxies, and deliveries using consistent naming, versioning, and metadata
- Collaborate in reviews, incorporate feedback quickly, and manage approvals, including MLR/medical-legal review
- QC all outputs for technical accuracy, accessibility (open/closed captions), and compliance
- Source and license music/stock; manage rights usage and documentation
- Contribute to post-production best practices, templates, LUTs, style guides, and workflow improvements
About You
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of professional video production and editing experience, preferably in an agency or media environment.
- Strong portfolio or reel showcasing narrative editing, rhythm, and brand storytelling across formats
- Experience in Life Sciences/pharma and scientific, medical storytelling
- Experience with regulatory and compliance such as MLR review processes and HIPAA
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro (primary), After Effects (motion), Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Streaming services: Restream or similar software for simulcasting to multiple platforms.
- Remote production: StreamYard or Riverside.fm for managing remote guests during live or pre-recorded events.
- Demonstrated skills in color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Experience supporting live events, webinars, or virtual productions.
- Strong design and animation sensibility with a focus on visual storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $100,000 and $115,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
