
Resource Manager
The Resource Manager is responsible for staffing assignments for TBWA\Canada projects from conception to completion. Working with internal partners, you will allocate resources ensuring capacity levels are appropriate and expertise matches work required. You will maintain resourcing processes and tools, provide comprehensive staffing and freelance reports, and resolve assignment conflicts. As part of the Operations team, you will be vital to bringing clarity to our team members.

Responsibilities:
- Carefully determine staffing assignments based on the clients’ needs, skillset necessary, and project timelines.
- Resolve resource scheduling conflicts as they arise, while being proactively aware of resourcing challenges in the future.
- Input on staffing plans for all new client scopes based on availability and project fit, including support for the Executive team on pitches.
- Maintain a master forecast of all current project needs and the planned needs for future projects.
- Forecast resources in the project pipeline to ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet demand.
- Work closely with Creative team members to ensure accurate assignments, adherence to deadlines and appropriate workload balance.
- Manage freelance resourcing in collaboration with Director, Resource & Project Management, Finance and HR. Maintain a key contact database and develop a network of skilled internal and external vendors.
- Analyze and approve hours and vacation requests and timesheets for the creative team.
- Maintain strong relationships with team members to become a trusted source of support.
- Develop an understanding of agency products and time required to deliver work.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in an advertising/marketing agency in resourcing or project management.
- Excellent relationship building and collaborating skills.
- Understanding of the flow of a creative project and the role of each department.
- Solution-focused and able to adapt resourcing plan to accommodate real time changes and project/business requirements.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset to tackle challenges before they become problems.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
