Job Summary

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for employees and clients and will be stationed at our front desk with our front desk coordinator  

 

Responsibilities

  • Enhance employee experience by developing and implementing strategies that meet the needs of employees within the office. Act as a key point of contact and collaborate with teams across JRM to foster a warm, engaging, and productive workplace aligned with the company’s values.
  • Drive a strong company culture by leading initiatives that promote connectivity, inclusivity, and pride across all departments and locations.
  • Plan and execute monthly office events and activations, including happy hours, employee appreciation days, Town Halls, Summer Party, Holiday Party, and oversee planning, logistics, and day-of execution to ensure seamless experiences and quick resolution of any onsite issues. 
  • Collaborate with the Employee Engagement team to organize team-building events, social gatherings, and volunteer activities that enhance camaraderie and engagement across teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managing conference room bookings through Robin, ensuring accurate scheduling, optimal space usage, and that rooms are clean, organized, properly set up and broken down, with all materials appropriately stored.
  • Support front desk operations by serving as the second point person, welcoming employees and guests, answering questions, and directing individuals appropriately as needed.
  • Collaborate with the office management team to improve office layout, organization, and processes that support employee efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to report, track, and help resolve any technical or equipment-related issues, ensuring smooth daily operations for all employees.
  • Support new hire integration by partnering with Talent Acquisition to deliver engaging onboarding experiences, including guided office tours, day one seating set up, and culture immersion activities.
  • Serves as the primary contact for coordinating and managing guest registrations for employee visitors.
  • Establishes and maintains a relationship with building management; oversees the submission of badge requests for new hires and existing employees.
  • Measure and improve employee experience initiatives by collecting feedback, tracking success metrics, and recognizing milestones and achievements that reflect progress and engagement.
  • Respond to employee requests and concerns with a solutions-focused, service-oriented approach that reflects JRM’s core values and commitment to excellence. 

 

Qualifications

  • At least two years of previous experience in an office environment or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience planning company events for 300+ employees.
  • You are a team player who knows when to act independently and when to seek second opinions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Salary Information

  • To the extent this position is performed in New York, the annual salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000

The range stated is specific to New York.  Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction related & Field specific roles) and internal company equity.
