What we’re looking for

As Head of Sales, you will bring this power to market. Deep knowledge of energy markets, power trading, renewables, and grid dynamics is essential, as you will own the entire go-to-market motion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will combine strategic leadership with a personal revenue quota, driving major deals, building lasting partnerships, and scaling a business defined by extreme performance, ambition, and speed.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Define and refine a hybrid product-led growth and enterprise sales funnel that drives both self-serve adoption and targeted enterprise engagements
  • Set and own ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets, maintain forecasting models, and performance tracking
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing
  • Design and execute growth-hacking initiatives (email campaigns, content programs, paid outreach) in the absence of a dedicated marketing team
  • Travel internationally at short notice to meet prospects onsite, deliver workshops, build relationships and close deals
  • Act as the primary external voice for Jua.ai: write thought-leadership pieces, host webinars, and represent us at industry events

Need-to-have

  • 8+ years of B2B software sales experience, carrying an individual quota
  • Experience scaling a go-to-market organization from 0 to 10M+ revenue as an early sales leader or founding member
  • A high-achiever with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Prior experience owning both demand generation and direct sales (e.g. as Head of Growth, Growth Marketing, or Head of Sales)
  • Deep understanding of the energy and commodity trading markets, including market structures, key players, and decision-making processes
  • Able to “speak the language” of traders, meteorologists, and technical decision-makers and act as a trusted and credible advisor
  • Proven track record selling +6-figure contracts into energy and/or commodity trading companies

Nice-to-have

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience bringing AI/ML products to market
  • Has built automated outbound channels with tools such as CRM, Clay, etc.
