Location: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week in our NYC, Denver, or Charlotte offices)

Position Summary: 

The Senior HRIS Analyst is a hands-on functional and technical expert responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and support of the organization’s HR technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Manager, HR Technology, this role leads complex system enhancements, reporting, integrations, security, testing, and data-quality initiatives while serving as an escalation point and trusted partner to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders. The Senior HRIS Analyst translates business needs into scalable solutions and helps establish strong system governance, documentation, and operating practices. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Own advanced configuration, maintenance, and production support across HR technology platforms, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, performance management, compensation, and related People systems.
  • Lead testing and implementation activities for system releases, enhancements, integrations, and process changes, including test plans, validation, issue resolution, and stakeholder readiness.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, data feeds, and interfaces; coordinate resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors.
  • Drive data integrity through recurring audits, reconciliations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive controls.
  • Administer system security, role-based access, and periodic access reviews in accordance with organizational policies and control requirements.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex system, reporting, security, workflow, and data issues; guide other analysts on troubleshooting and solution design.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to simplify processes, improve employee and manager experiences, strengthen controls, and increase automation.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration records, standard operating procedures, testing standards, and knowledge resources.
  • Build strong partnerships with HR functional teams, Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendors to ensure reliable service delivery and sustainable solutions.
  • Stay current on HR technology capabilities and recommend practical improvements aligned with business priorities.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HRIS or HR technology experience, including hands-on configuration and production support for an enterprise HR platform.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex system enhancements, testing, reporting, integrations, security, and data-management activities.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data across core HR, payroll, benefits, talent, recruiting, performance, and compensation.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose complex system and data issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business audiences and translate business needs for technical partners.
  • Experience with UKG and Greenhouse or comparable enterprise HR platforms required. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with change management, user adoption, training, and stakeholder communications.
  • Advanced reporting, dashboard development, and workforce analytics experience. 

New York, NY Salary Range

$98,000 - $122,500 USD

Denver, CO Salary Range

$89,600 - $112,000 USD

Charlotte, NC Salary Range

$81,600 - $102,000 USD
