Junior Chief of Staff

Remote

At Jukebox Health, our mission is to empower everyone to live safer, healthier, more independent lives at home. We partner with health plans to make homes safer and more accessible for older adults and high-needs populations. We achieve this by combining technology with networks of clinicians, suppliers, and installers to deliver personalized home modifications and environmental supports nationwide. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs, Jukebox Health is a fast growing healthcare services company backed by top venture capital firms like Valtruis and The Home Depot.

We're looking for a sharp, ambitious Junior Chief of Staff to sit at the center of how Jukebox operates day-to-day. Reporting to the VP of People, you'll work across leadership, Growth, and People to keep things moving — owning meeting operations, executive logistics, hiring support, and culture programming while building a firsthand understanding of how a high-growth healthtech company runs. This is a real launchpad for someone who wants to grow into a Chief of Staff, People Operations, or broader business operations role. If you're early in your career, thrive on variety, and want to be close to the action at a mission-driven company, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendaring and logistics for the co-founders, including proactive calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and maintaining clear communication on their behalf
  • Own end-to-end meeting operations for key recurring meetings across teams — scheduling, agenda building, pre-read distribution, and following up on action items post-meeting
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure meetings happen on time, with the right people in the room and materials prepared in advance
  • Coordinate domestic and occasional international T&E for the Growth team — flights, hotels, ground transportation, expenses, and itineraries
  • Support the People team with interview scheduling, candidate communications, event logistics, offsites, team gatherings, happy hours, and culture programming — from concept through execution
  • Own ad hoc projects and operational tasks across the company — research, vendor coordination, gift purchases, process documentation, and whatever else needs to get done
  • Identify gaps in how we operate and propose or implement solutions without being asked

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in an operational, administrative, or generalist business role — startup experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work independently without close supervision
  • A high sense of urgency, especially when it comes to priority tasks and communication with candidates, investors, and other key contacts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high degree of discretion and integrity around confidential information
  • Fully remote-ready with reliable availability during Eastern business hours
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack
  • Active user of AI tools to work faster and smarter

Preferred

  • Familiarity with travel booking and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp)
  • Experience supporting founders and/or People teams
  • Interest in growing into a Chief of Staff, People Operations, or business operations role

How We Invest In You

  • Generous company-funding of our health, vision, and dental plans
  • HSA plan with company seeding
  • FSA plan
  • Short and Long-Term Disability
  • Life and Personal Accident Insurance
  • Hospital Insurance
  • 401k immediately upon hire
  • Generous candidate referral program
  • Yearly wellness stipend

Time Away

  • Unlimited PTO + 10 paid holidays

Remote First Team

  • $1000 stipend towards work from home costs
  • Frequent team off-sites and get-togethers around the country
  • Collaborative team environment
  • Monthly Townhalls
  • High trust environment
  • A laptop and company swag upon hire

Compensation Range: $60,000 - 65,000/year + company equity
