In short, your role within Jungheinrich will play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics. 

 

Role Purpose

The Head of Marketing for UK & Ireland is responsible for shaping, leading and executing the marketing strategy to drive demand generation, strengthen brand positioning, and support commercial growth. This role blends strategic leadership with hands on execution, ensuring marketing initiatives translate directly into sales pipeline and measurable business outcomes.


You will lead the marketing teams in UK & Ireland working closely with the country sales teams, Dealer/Channel partners, and the wider Global Marketing organisation to implement an effective plan.

 

Role Responsibilities                                               

  • Development & implementation of Jungheinrich integrated marketing plan for GB & Ireland in conjunction with key stakeholders. It needs to be aligned to commercial targets, local market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with group & develop content to ensure effective results in the local markets.
  • Build the brand with the market ensuring consistent communication & differentiation.
  • Develop annual campaign calendars covering product launches, dealer-led initiatives, segment campaigns, digital programs, and events.
  • In collaboration with the sales channel owners, develop dealer marketing programs, campaigns, toolkits, and initiatives to drive local market activation.
  • Managing a team of marketing professionals as well as an external agency network including PR, Digital, Design & Events.
  • Managing marketing budget to ensure ROI goals are met or exceeded.
  • Setting marketing KPIs aligned to overall business strategy, with particular focus on lead management and market awareness.
  • Guiding the day-to-day activities of the marketing team to deliver on integrated campaigns outlined in marketing plan.
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, development and deliver internal communications strategies for the organisation.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the National Enablement Director.

 

Role Requirements 

  • Experience in marketing & successful marketing leader, preferably in the B2B sector.
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
  • Deep understanding of B2B customer journeys, dealer/channel ecosystems, and solution-selling.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on, practical implementation.
  • Extensive experience with setting up and managing successful marketing campaigns. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner closely with Sales and leadership teams. 
  • Excellent communication skills and experience influencing at senior levels
