Director of Growth

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Director of Growth

Toronto, ON · Hybrid (Clinic Support Centre)

At Juno Veterinary, we are on a mission to ensure every pet and Juno team member has the support they need to thrive. Our ultimate vision is to establish a stellar standard for the veterinary industry — the Juno standard of care. We are seeking to challenge a traditional industry by establishing this standard across Canada, not just for our Members and their pets, but also for our team of veterinary professionals, who are at the heart of everything we do. We are just getting started, and we cannot wait to meet you.

We are assembling a team of innovative thinkers across consumer-tech and veterinary medicine to build a new experience for consumers and providers. We are looking for someone who shares our vision and wants to be a major part of shaping the future with Juno. We are looking for someone who loves the idea of building something meaningful, contributing to the Mission, and being part of a growing company committed to making a positive impact on veterinary medicine in Canada.

Growth is not a support function at Juno — it is a core engine. As we scale across existing and new markets and open clinics across Canada, we are looking for a Director of Growth to take full ownership of how we find and acquire new members, profitably and repeatably. This is a role for a performance-driven, hands-on operator who is ready to build and run something exceptional.

Who We’re Looking For

You are currently a Senior Manager or Senior Lead in growth or performance marketing, and you are ready to own the function entirely for the first time. You have been the best operator in your current role for a while now — you want a seat where you can build and run the whole engine, not just manage a part of it. You are in Meta and Google daily as an operator, not behind an agency layer. You think in incrementality and marginal CAC, not just reported conversions. You treat creative as the number one lever in paid social and run a high-tempo testing program that never stops. You have built AI workflows and systems — not asking an LLM questions, but building tools that do real work.

You have a point of view on multi-location and local acquisition. You understand what it means to acquire members at the geo and store level, not just the national level. And you are excited by the idea of building Juno’s growth engine from the ground up, with the autonomy to do it your way.

This role reports directly to our Head of Marketing and works cross-functionally with clinic operations, product, and the broader Juno team.

As Director of Growth at Juno, you will:

  • Own all paid channels — Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit — strategy, budget, bidding, and daily optimization across Juno’s clinic footprint, including geo and store-level spend for new-market launches
  • Own the performance creative engine — brief, ship, and test ad creative at volume (hooks, formats, statics, UGC, video) on a structured ad-level testing cadence; feed winners back into the next production cycle
  • Own the conversion path — landing pages, booking-flow CRO, and a continuous testing cadence; work with web and product to ship and measure
  • Own acquisition promo and discount strategy — launch offers, waitlists — compliant with CVO/CVBC
  • Own SEO and AI discoverability — organic and answer-engine visibility, local/GBP, structured content that wins citations
  • Own acquisition attribution and reporting — build and maintain the models and dashboards, run the weekly performance review
  • Execute paid retargeting against audiences and triggers defined with Lifecycle
  • Build internal tooling and automation that makes all of the above faster and sharper

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8+ years in growth and performance marketing at consumer businesses; at least one stint at a consumer scale-up at Juno’s stage
  • Owned a paid budget at real scale — scaled spend while holding or lowering blended CAC
  • Hands-on experience operating paid ad accounts daily — you have relationships with account managers at the ad platforms
  • Conversion rate and landing-page testing experience with quantified results
  • Analytical — comfortable in SQL or a BI tool (Metabase, Looker); builds their own attribution
  • Has built AI workflows and systems — not asking an LLM questions, building tools that do real work
  • Built and run a paid-creative testing pipeline with volume and a clear read on what wins, from briefing through to ad-level results
  • Bonus: multi-location or local acquisition experience; SEO and AI/answer-engine; regulated advertising
