TITLE: Corporate Controller

POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate Controller will lead our finance team, bridging finance, manufacturing, and sales operations to drive Jupiter Endovascular’s growth. You will spearhead an ERP implementation, build a high-performing team, and develop scalable financial processes. We are seeking a hands-on leader with technical expertise, a passion for operational efficiency, and a desire to thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. You will report to the CFO. 

This is an in-office role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership & Strategy:

    • Lead a company-wide ERP implementation to streamline financial and operational processes. 

    • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team to support career development and scalability.

  • Financial Operations:

    • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

    • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential business partnerships.

    • Administer the company equity plan and ensure robust risk management policies.

  • Compliance & Controls: 

    • Prepare for the company’s first independent financial audit, collaborating with the external technical accounting firm. 

    • Develop procedures for Sunshine Act reporting and other regulatory requirements. 

    • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with manufacturing to implement cost accounting systems and methodologies.

    • Lead vendor and supplier contract negotiations to optimize financial terms. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 7+ years in a managerial role (Controller or experienced Accounting Manager).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. 

  • CPA (audit) certification from an internationally recognized firm.

  • Proven expertise in leading ERP implementations and scaling financial operations in early-stage startups.

  • Proficient with NetSuite and advanced cost accounting/inventory control for manufacturing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and variance analysis.

  • Familiarity with Sunshine Act reporting and regulatory compliance in medical devices.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to mentor teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Technical accounting experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION: Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $220,000-$270,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(k) with matching.
