About the Role

Pearl.com, a subsidiary of JustAnswer LLC, is seeking an experienced Business Development lead to drive strategic partnerships and growth initiatives, particularly in the technology, and Generative AI sectors. The overarching goal for this individual is to help develop impactful Business Development deals with GenAI players. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of forging successful partnerships with technology companies, vertical professional service companies and a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape. As we are developing a number of new enterprise products, this individual will work with the executive team to define and execute a go-to-market strategy for these new products. 

This is a high visibility, maximum impact position. You'll be working with a cross functional team to develop new AI-based solutions for enterprise customers and will be expected not just to deliver successful results, but clients we can learn from and build upon what we learn. You'll need to be not just well versed in the technology, but able to craft a viable use case that yield the maximum results in minimum time using primarily existing technologies and solutions. 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on market penetration. 
• Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with technology and GenAI companies. 
• Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new technologies and solutions into our existing platforms. 
• Conduct market research to identify new prospecting opportunities 
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach to ongoing relationship management 
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to align partnership strategies with company goals 
• Prepare and present business cases and partnership proposals to senior leadership 

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 7 years Business Development Experience 
• Proven experience in technology, data and AI business development partnerships 
• Strong understanding of Gen AI technologies, and their applications in professional services 
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills 
• Brings an established network of potential prospects, and has the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level executives 
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills to evaluate partnership opportunities 
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
• Experience in the professional services or expert marketplace industry 
• Familiarity with Lean startup and agile development methodologies
