What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Associate to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting food safety and quality standards, and helping ensure our warehouse operates efficiently.

As our primary warehouse operator, you'll work closely with production, logistics, and cross-functional teams while providing guidance and support to others assisting with warehouse operations as needed.

What You'll Do

Daily Warehouse Operations

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day warehouse operator, providing direction and support to team members assisting with warehouse activities as needed.
  • Receive, store, move, pick, and ship materials and finished goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, organization, and efficiency.

Inventory & Material Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and routine inventory verification.
  • Ensure products are properly scanned and inventory discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
  • Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
  • Monitor refrigerated and temperature-controlled storage areas to help maintain product quality.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support customer and production schedules.
  • Verify shipping documentation and delivery requirements.
  • Safely load, unload, and handle materials while protecting product quality and inventory accuracy.

Safety & Food Quality

  • Promote a safe workplace by following company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records to support inventory, food safety, and quality programs.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment built on accountability and communication.
  • Support the training and onboarding of team members assisting with warehouse operations.
  • Partner with production, logistics, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities—you lead by example, communicate effectively, take ownership of your work, and consistently demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (or the ability to become certified).
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel), and experience using warehouse management or ERP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory software. Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Please note that a basic computer skills assessment may be included as part of the interview process.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
  • Work comfortably in refrigerated and temperature-controlled environments as needed.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Compensation: The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position based at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Appleton, Minnesota. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
