ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Manager, US Strategic Planning & Performance partners with Commercial Leadership to define, align, and track JUUL Labs’ US commercial strategy and performance. This role is responsible for leading the annual and long-term planning processes for the US market, ensuring strategies are aligned to corporate objectives, commercially viable, and executable across functions. The Senior Manager develops frameworks for investment prioritization, provides actionable performance insights, and drives cross-functional alignment to ensure the US commercial plan delivers against revenue and growth targets.
● Lead US Commercial Planning
- Partner with Commercial Leaders to spearhead development and delivery of the US Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Term Plan (LTP) processes.
- Integrate market intelligence, competitive insights, and internal performance data to shape the US commercial roadmap.
- Align planning outputs with investment and resource allocation priorities.
● Performance Tracking & Insights
- Establish KPIs and performance tracking systems for US commercial initiatives.
- Partner with BI, Sales Analytics, and Finance to translate data into actionable insights for Commercial Leadership.
- Conduct post-program evaluations to inform future strategies.
● Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Sales, Brand, Operations, Regulatory, and other functions to ensure execution plans align with strategic goals.
- Facilitate US commercial leadership meetings and planning workshops.
- Provide executive-ready materials for senior decision-making forums.
● Support Commercial Leadership Team
- Develop and manage executive materials including board presentations, commercial offsite content, and strategic leadership briefings.
- Support commercial staff planning and operational leadership coordination across the commercial function.
- Translate performance tracking and insight into action-oriented recommendations for the executive team.
● Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and innovation in the US nicotine category.
- Assess competitive threats and opportunities, integrating findings into strategic recommendations.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in commercial strategy, planning, or business performance management within CPG or regulated industries
- Strong analytical skills and experience translating insights into strategic recommendations
- Proven ability to manage annual and long-term planning cycles
- Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentation development
- Travel up to 20–25%
- Experience in tobacco, nicotine, or adjacent regulated CPG categories
- Familiarity with BI tools and competitive intelligence platforms
EDUCATION:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree

SALARY RANGES:
Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
