Senior GTM and Product Commercialization Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Manager, Go-To-Market and Product commercialization Manager is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for the successful planning, execution, and commercialization of new product launches and market expansion initiatives within designated regions or categories. This role will own the GTM launch process, driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring flawless execution that aligns with the overarching business strategy.
Working closely with functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Regulatory, the Senior Manager will translate global strategy into detailed, actionable launch plans, manage project timelines, and serve as the core GTM readiness expert to ensure speed, consistency, and alignment across all commercial functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- GTM Planning & Execution Ownership:
- Own the end-to-end GTM execution roadmap for major product launches and new market entries within scope, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and commercial objectives
- Translate high-level GTM strategy frameworks into detailed, cross-functional project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Serve as the commercial project lead, driving daily and weekly synchronization across all functions (Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Regulatory) to ensure key milestones are met on time and budget
- Manage critical dependencies and resolve complex commercialization roadblocks, proactively mitigating risks that could impact launch timelines or P&L targets
- Present detailed GTM readiness status, risks, and performance forecasts directly to Senior Leadership/Executive teams
- Market Expansion & Execution Playbooks:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Strategy team to assess and prepare for new market entry initiatives, focusing on translating high-level market analysis into specific, executable GTM tactics
- Implement and continuously refine the GTM commercialization playbook and best practices within the assigned regions or categories to ensure operational excellence and consistency
- Gather and synthesize feedback from local teams to inform and improve future GTM processes
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment:
- Foster clear communication and high-level collaboration across functional and regional leadership teams, effectively dismantling silos and establishing shared accountability for successful launch outcomes
- Facilitate GTM readiness discussions among senior stakeholders, manage executive status reporting, and ensure leadership consensus on critical priorities and launch requirements
- Process Improvement & Playbook Development:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the commercialization process
- Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive product commercialization playbook that outlines best practices, standard processes, roles and responsibilities, and key templates for successful product launches and lifecycle management
- Continuously update the playbook based on learnings from past launches and evolving industry best practices
- Champion the adoption and utilization of the commercialization playbook across the organization
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Go-to-Market strategy, product marketing, commercialization, or program management, preferably in a fast-paced, regulated, or CPG environment
- Proven track record of independently managing and successfully executing complex, cross-functional product launches or market entries
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional peers and present clearly to senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills, capable of using data and KPIs to drive GTM optimization
- Experience supporting consumer product launches in the nicotine, CPG, or healthcare categories preferred
- Experience working in a matrixed and/or international organization highly preferred
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities preferred
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

SALARY RANGES:
Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
