
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a part of highly skilled Scrum team developing software solution for emergency preparedness and management. Your responsibilities will also include designing, implementing and running a balanced automation and exploratory test strategy for fast paced development cycle. We expect you to own quality strategy with the explicit aim of preventing defects instead of simply detecting them.

Reports to: Senior Director, Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Design, implement and execute test strategy which includes automated and/or manual testing effort.
- Create and maintain test suites that are derived from product specifications and discussions with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Software Engineers.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for Web Applications.
- Support the software engineering team to develop high quality software based on business-driven goals in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in our Agile/Scrum process. Ability to lead the process is an advantage.
- Mentor less experienced Quality Assurance Engineers in the company.
- Continuously grow personal and professional skills driven by challenging goals.
- Comprehend and adhere to the OWASP Top 10 security best practices.
- Include Security as a focus every time an application is created or modified.
- Involve the Information Security liaison in the early stages of any major development.
- Understand the ISO 27001 security requirements.
- Compliance with Juvare policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in web or mobile testing, test development or automation role.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- Solid experience of building test automation solutions using Playwright. Experience with other equivalent tools is an advantage.
- Accessibility, performance, and security testing experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of web technologies such as TypeScript, Java Script, REST API.
- Experience in CI/CD (GitLab preferably) automation is an advantage.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team.

Gross salary from 4500 euro/month and above (depends on your experience).
