VP/ Director of Product Management

Atlanta

Juvare is a SaaS company focused on operational resilience, critical incident management, and mission coordination. Our products serve state and local government, federal civilian and defense agencies, public and private healthcare organizations, and critical infrastructure operators. Our portfolio includes WebEOC Nexus, the Unified Command Platform, Juvare Exchange, Juvare AI, HealthSuite, CrisisTrack, and related workflow, intelligence, communications, and recovery solutions.

Reports to: Chief Product Officer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Leadership scope: Platform and Vertical Product Managers

Direct product responsibility: Juvare AI (JAI)

The Opportunity

Juvare is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our platform and vertical Product Management organization and directly own the strategy, roadmap, commercialization, and adoption of Juvare AI.

This broad, player-coach role will align Juvare’s markets, products, shared platform capabilities, product adoption, and New Product Innovation. The Director will partner closely with the NPI Accelerator Team to move promising concepts from market validation into commercially viable, scalable offerings while developing a high-performing Product Management team.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Juvare’s Platform and Vertical Product Managers; establish clear roles, decision rights, performance expectations, and operating rhythms.
  • Hold Product Managers accountable for customer problems, market strategy, differentiation, product health, adoption, and commercial outcomes—not only feature delivery.
  • Maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap and resolve cross-product priorities, investment tradeoffs, capability overlaps, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to empower teams around clear problems and measurable customer and business outcomes.

Portfolio Strategy, Growth, and Product Adoption

  • Translate Juvare’s company strategy into a coherent portfolio strategy across Federal, SLED, Healthcare, Critical Infrastructure, and shared platform capabilities.
  • Build and institutionalize a repeatable Juvare Growth Playbook for net-new products, zero-to-one and one-to-many growth, adjacent-market expansion, and cross-sell and upsell within the installed base.
  • Define the evidence required before investment, including strategic fit, validated customer need, outside-in market evidence, differentiation, funding and willingness to pay, revenue potential, repeatability, technical feasibility, and delivery economics.
  • Own Juvare’s product-adoption measurement framework, observability, and Pendo operating model, including instrumentation standards, Core Events, page and feature tagging, segmentation, dashboards, data quality, and recurring portfolio reviews.
  • Own Juvare’s product data strategy, partnering with PMs and the Partnership program, to enable embedded data that drives differentiated insights, AI capabilities, and commercial value across the product portfolio.

New Product Innovation and NPI Accelerator Partnership

  • Own the Product organization’s New Product Innovation process and serve as the primary Product Management counterpart to the NPI Accelerator Team.
  • Partner with the Accelerator to define the product opportunity and target market, customer discovery and early-adopter strategy, prototype and first-version objectives, pricing hypotheses, learning goals, Alpha/Beta/LA/GA criteria, and organizational handoff.
  • Ensure new concepts are validated for customer value, commercial viability, strategic fit, usability, security, supportability, and repeatability, not merely technical feasibility.
  • Define graduation criteria and post-graduation ownership, roadmap, staffing, support, implementation, and go-to-market plans.
  • Maintain a transparent NPI portfolio and help scale successful offerings from design partners into repeatable, referenceable, market-ready products.

Juvare AI Strategy and Adoption

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, packaging, and performance of Juvare AI.
  • Define differentiated JAI value across Juvare’s markets and develop an integrated roadmap spanning embedded assistance, role-aware agents, workflow automation, decision support, analytics, insights, and agent orchestration.
  • Prioritize JAI use cases based on customer value, market demand, data readiness, portfolio reuse, commercial potential, and operational outcomes; ensure JAI is embedded in the workflows where customers perform critical work.
  • Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Legal, and Compliance to ensure JAI is secure, explainable, governable, auditable, and appropriate for regulated and mission-critical environments.
  • Establish and monitor measurable JAI adoption goals, including activation, repeat usage, workflow penetration, time to value, task completion and time savings, trust and satisfaction, expansion, revenue influence, and referenceability.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, and Support on positioning, demonstrations, enablement, onboarding, adoption programs, and customer success plans.

Commercialization and Customer Leadership

  • Maintain direct engagement with strategic customers, prospects, advisory groups, early adopters, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ensure every major launch includes validated positioning, pricing, packaging, enablement, operational readiness, Pendo instrumentation, adoption targets, in-app onboarding or guidance, and post-launch measurement.
  • Connect customer needs and adoption evidence to platform investment and vertical roadmaps, and represent Product Management in major customer, partner, executive, board, and investor discussions.

What Success Looks Like

  • During the first 12 months, this leader will have:
  • Established clear accountability across Product Management and an integrated portfolio roadmap connecting market solutions, platform capabilities, Juvare Exchange, data, and AI.
  • Implemented a repeatable Growth Playbook and NPI process with clear investment, stage-gate, graduation, handoff, and scale criteria.
  • Build and lead customer advisory boards and practitioner communities to inform product strategy, validate new offerings, strengthen adoption, and develop referenceable customer advocates.
  • Developed a focused JAI roadmap with measurable adoption and commercial objectives.
  • Established a portfolio-wide product health and adoption framework in Pendo, with reliable instrumentation, executive dashboards, and a recurring review cadence.
  • Improved activation, time to value, feature and workflow adoption, repeat usage, and customer referenceability across priority products, especially JAI.
  • Evaluate portfolio pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Finance, Sales, and Product Marketing, including value metrics, willingness-to-pay validation, commercial guardrails, and pricing performance; recommending necessary actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including enterprise B2B SaaS products.
  • 4+ years leading and developing Product Managers or multidisciplinary product teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a complex portfolio across shared platforms, market-facing solutions, and multiple customer segments.
  • Experience taking products from early discovery and zero-to-one development through commercialization, adoption, and scale.
  • Demonstrated success with AI-, analytics-, automation-, or data-driven products and a strong understanding of agents, grounding, model evaluation, human oversight, explainability, and responsible AI.
  • Demonstrated experience operationalizing product analytics and adoption platforms—Pendo strongly preferred—including instrumentation, segmentation, dashboards, and in-app adoption programs, and turning usage data into product decisions.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, go-to-market planning, customer adoption, and portfolio investment decisions, supported by strong commercial and financial judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Security, and executive leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in GovTech, emergency management, healthcare technology, defense, critical infrastructure, or another regulated market.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD IL5, or comparable compliance frameworks.
  • Experience building configurable platforms, workflow products, data exchange networks, analytics, or decision-support solutions.

Leadership Profile

The successful candidate will be strategic and hands-on, commercially accountable, customer-centered, technically credible, and comfortable making difficult portfolio tradeoffs. This leader will develop strong product talent and turn customer insight and product data into offerings customers adopt, value, expand, and recommend.
