Position Overview

K18 is looking for an International Stylist Relations Manager to join our marketing team. This is a dynamic role which requires excellent, established relationships with key stylists  who are relevant in the hair industry across the UK, ME and EU markets. We are looking for someone who takes a strategic approach to outreach - engaging our existing stylist community as well as driving impactful new relationships.

The right candidate will bring a combination of strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of market trends & competitive brand activations in order to: 

  • Drive K18 to achieve/maintain a top Global EMV.
  • Ensure a robust understanding of the value of stylist influencers on our database & use this data to improve our performance & tactics.
  • Develop & grow the UK, ME and EU influencer database to include forward thinking, new stylist content creators.
  • Continuously address the ever-changing trends to ensure our strategy keeps K18 front of mind and continues to deliver above expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Director and Senior Manager to implement key focus of marketing calendars and global stylist direction, driving strategic plans & local initiatives to support NPD launches and sustain core collection across the EU, UK and ME markets
  • Manage production and activation of in person & digital events.
  • Drive personal relations for the brands via 1:1 and group meetings on a consistent basis.
  • Manage international database; consistently reviewing database and activity to further grow, develop and forge strong mutually beneficial relations.
  • Research and identify relevant new influencers to add to global database and additional database across key markets
  • Drive & grow relations across stylists and salon partners
  • Forge and develop strong relations with partners and salon teams across all markets whilst devising new opportunities to forge productive relations & relevant partnership activation
  • Drive regular, wider content support initiatives outside of NPD mailers, within local markets
  • Work with Marketing & Sales + Education teams to devise both reactive and proactive targeted support to drive sales i.e GWP, retailer exclusives.
  • Work closely with global teams to enhance global stylist influencer initiatives, driving unity and best practice.
  • Manage evaluation and reporting of content and coverage results monthly and post event activation as these occur (using TRIBE).

  • Excellent project manager with strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize
  • Passionate about influencers, social media, and the communities that thrive there 
  • You keep up with platform changes, popularity and trends
  • You have an exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 years of experience working as a Hair stylist and in salon
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred
  • Fluent in either French and/or Italian is a plus. 
  • Ability to work in dynamic & fast paced environments. 
  • Exceptional relationship-builder & natural communicator. 
  • Excellent analytical skills & high interest to learn about new analytics trends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of influencers trends & the Beauty world. 
  • Multi-tasker with a vision. 
  • Experience using influencer reporting platforms such as Tribe Dynamics/TRAACKR for influencers 
  • Excel & powerpoint proficient. 
  • Strong team player with ability to take initiative and work with autonomy.
  • Proficient written communication and creative skills with keen ability to adapt depending on platform or audience. 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
