Regional Education Manager - West

K18 is currently seeking dedicated Regional Education Managers (REM) to support our West Coast operations, with a preference for candidates located in California, Arizona, Washington, or Nevada. The selected Regional Education Manager will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of K18 education within their designated region. This role requires close collaboration with our sales and marketing teams to create a cohesive and streamlined experience for our community. You will be instrumental in executing the strategic initiatives set forth by the Director of Education.
Further responsibilities include overseeing your assigned markets, ensuring the delivery of outstanding and engaging education to our professional stylists. The REM will support their territory by fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional educational experiences that align with our company's goals. Responsibilities
- Understand and lead the K18 philosophy of biotech and biomimetics through exciting education.
- Manage educational strategies within your region, implementing education plans to grow the K18 brand and business.
- Responsible for the recruiting, training, development and scheduling of a team of educators (PROfessors) in the region.
- Responsible for facilitating local trainings to distributor sales consultants, distributor educators, store employees and salons.
- Works closely with K18 marketing and sales teams to ensure proper launches and promotions within the region.
- Promote and implement K18 education programs, from field education to shows and events.
- Responsible for scheduling and managing all K18 education programs within your region.
- Responsible for the development and growth of existing accounts as well as generating new business through excellent education in field.
- Works with distributors, sales, and marketing to plan a strategy to deliver against sales goals.
- Manage educational programs to meet salon objectives and support new product launches within the region.
- Participates in distributor shows and programs as directed.
- Facilitate technical education for professional stylists in both live and virtual settings.
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be Licensed and experienced Hairstylist/Cosmetologist.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in educating haircare products in the field.
- Previous experience conducting classes for large audiences and in-salon settings.
- Strong facilitation skills in both live and virtual settings.
- Strong facilitation skills in color, cut and styling
- Strong administrative skills and a proactive mindset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple distributors in the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel and work weekends when required.
- Travel time between markets can be up to 70% of role.
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Salary Range: up to 95-105k in USD
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
