NetSuite Administrator
At K18, we're about hair freedom for all–engineered with biotech. We are on a mission to liberate expression. To make the impossible possible with the right technology. To build a community of forward thinkers, risk takers, and rabble rousers. To bring fearless innovation forward and push boundaries past where we thought they could go.
Position Overview
K18 is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NetSuite Administrator to join our IT team supporting both the K18 and Living Proof brands within Unilever Prestige. Your time will be split approximately 50/50 between the two brands.
You'll own the day-to-day health of our NetSuite environment, partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, and drive improvements across our landscape. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and energized by the variety of problems that come with supporting a high-growth prestige beauty business. This role is a hands-on operational and project role at the intersection of finance, supply chain, and digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities
ERP (NetSuite) Administration & Configuration
- Optimize processes and maintain configurations in collaboration with finance, supply chain, and commercial partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, then translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions.
- Manage roles, permissions, and user provisioning in line with SOX and internal control requirements.
- Manage IT General Controls and Segregation of Duties in partnership with brand controllers.
- Maintain custom fields, forms, records, workflows, and saved searches; evaluate changes for downstream impact before deployment.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for NetSuite users, including timely issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Develop and deliver training programs on NetSuite processes; author SOPs and knowledge base articles to empower users across the organization.
- Coordinate NetSuite release readiness — review release notes, test sandbox changes, and communicate impact to the business.
Integration Management & Monitoring
- Own the daily health of integrations across Shopify, 3PLs, shipping systems, EDI partners, and our enterprise service bus.
- Monitor daily reprocessing of interface errors for eCommerce and other connected applications; analyze, resolve, and escalate technical issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Maintain master data synchronization between NetSuite and third-party applications (PIM, 3PL, data warehouse, etc.).
- Partner with IT, the ESB team, and external integration partners (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, or similar iPaaS) on enhancements and issue resolution.
Project & Interface Management
- Scope and execute small- to mid-sized NetSuite enhancements end-to-end — requirements, build, UAT, cutover, hypercare.
- Partner with and manage third-party consultants and implementation partners — scoping statements of work, holding them accountable to deliverables and timelines, reviewing their work, and ensuring knowledge transfer back to the internal team.
Reporting, Saved Searches & Analytics
- Design and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, and KPI views to meet evolving business needs.
- Support, from a NetSuite perspective, data extracts and feeds into downstream analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, FiveTran, Databricks).
Data Management & CSV Imports
- Manage CSV import processes for transactions not handled by integrations, including inventory adjustments, sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory status changes.
- Perform master data updates (items, vendors, customers, pricing) with appropriate QA and audit trail.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across inventory, purchase orders, vendors, and customers.
Support
- Assist with monthly processes in partnership with Operations and Finance.
- Support lot/batch, expiration, and allocation workflows specific to beauty and personal care operations.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business operations, month-end close, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience.
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite modules across Finance (GL, AP, AR), Inventory, Order Management, and Purchasing.
- Demonstrated experience with saved searches, custom fields, forms, workflows, and role/permission management.
- Proven ability to manage CSV imports and master data updates at scale without compromising data integrity.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting NetSuite integrations with eCommerce platforms (Shopify preferred), 3PLs, and EDI partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose root cause and drive issues to resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable translating between technical and business audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across two brands in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or ERP Consultant certification.
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript (1.0/2.x) and SuiteFlow for reading, modifying, or authoring light customizations.
- Experience in CPG, beauty, or consumer products — particularly with lot-controlled inventory, allocation, and 3PL operations.
- Familiarity with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo or Boomi, and with enterprise service bus architectures.
- Exposure to SOX-controlled environments and IT general controls (ITGCs).
- Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-subsidiary NetSuite environments (OneWorld).
- Experience managing third-party implementation partners or consultants on NetSuite projects.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus, EDI standards (X12), and common retail trading partner requirements.
