Senior Associate, Procurement and Accounts Payable

What You’ll Do:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, talented and growing organization as the Procurement and Accounts Payable Specialist.  This role will partner directly with the finance team, and cross-functional colleagues.  This role is a “hands-on” position with direct responsibility for Kailera’s procurement and accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review new and existing vendor onboarding information to ensure vendors are setup accurately within Procure-to-Pay platform.
  • Conduct reviews of requisitions/invoices for accuracy, completeness, and ensure appropriate expense allocations/accounting treatment.
  • Communicate directly with vendors as part of obtaining quotes, contracts, and invoicing matters.
  • Oversee vendor invoice workflows, collaborate with stakeholders for timely approvals, and liaise with vendors and Kailera colleagues to address discrepancies.
  • Ensure prompt payment to vendors while adhering to established internal controls, company policies and procedures.
  • Manage T&E platform in Concur. Review and process expense reports for payment.
  • Participate in month end close process, including reconciling accounts payable and other relevant accounts.
  • Assist with external audit requests, including preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for efficiency through system enhancements and/or process improvements.
  • Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as necessary.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior accounting/accounts payable experience required
  • Excellent organization, problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Willingness to ‘build the plane while flying’ and comfort with ambiguity
  • Flexible, personable team player

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

Salary Range

$90,000 - $110,000 USD
