Senior Associate, Procurement and Accounts Payable

What You’ll Do:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, talented and growing organization as the Procurement and Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will partner directly with the finance team, and cross-functional colleagues. This role is a “hands-on” position with direct responsibility for Kailera’s procurement and accounts payable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review new and existing vendor onboarding information to ensure vendors are setup accurately within Procure-to-Pay platform.
- Conduct reviews of requisitions/invoices for accuracy, completeness, and ensure appropriate expense allocations/accounting treatment.
- Communicate directly with vendors as part of obtaining quotes, contracts, and invoicing matters.
- Oversee vendor invoice workflows, collaborate with stakeholders for timely approvals, and liaise with vendors and Kailera colleagues to address discrepancies.
- Ensure prompt payment to vendors while adhering to established internal controls, company policies and procedures.
- Manage T&E platform in Concur. Review and process expense reports for payment.
- Participate in month end close process, including reconciling accounts payable and other relevant accounts.
- Assist with external audit requests, including preparation of supporting documentation.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for efficiency through system enhancements and/or process improvements.
- Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Prior accounting/accounts payable experience required
- Excellent organization, problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Willingness to ‘build the plane while flying’ and comfort with ambiguity
- Flexible, personable team player
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

At Kailera, we are committed to fostering an inclusive culture. How we treat our people is reflective of this commitment. We share the pay range for this particular role with the actual base salary depending upon factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, and experience.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $110,000 USD
