What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Competitive Intelligence Intern to join our corporate strategy team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic analysis and competitive intelligence within the rapidly evolving obesity treatment landscape. You will help monitor external market dynamics and provide insights that inform Kailera’s strategic decisions.

Required location: Waltham, MA (hub-based, onsite 3-4 days per week) 

Responsibilities:

• Track competitor activities, regulatory updates, and emerging innovations in obesity treatment.
• Prepare and distribute timely alerts on relevant news developments to senior leadership
• Analyze competitor earnings calls and highlight key takeaways and strategic implications
• Develop a comprehensive document summarizing major themes in the obesity market and propose strategic recommendations for Kailera
• Maintain and update competitive intelligence trackers and databases

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or related field
• Strong interest in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and obesity treatment innovation
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree candidates who have completed 2+ years and are pursuing a degree in life sciences or business
