
TFO MEP QAQC Manager (General Contractor Rep) - Hilliard, OH
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent trade/superintendent experience
- 7–10+ years of construction, QA/QC, field management, or MEP coordination experience on data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, industrial, or large commercial projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems including electrical distribution, mechanical equipment, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and commissioning interfaces
- Experience supporting tenant fit-out, data hall fit-out, or fast-paced MEP construction environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection workflows, punchlist management, and commissioning documentation
- Experience with Procore, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management platforms
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, inspection documentation, and commissioning requirements
- Strong field presence with the ability to conduct routine site walks, identify quality issues, and drive corrective action with contractors and trade partners
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across owner, GC, subcontractor, vendor, and commissioning teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the General Contractors Representative for MEP QA/QC oversight during tenant fit-out phases of hyperscale data center construction
- Maintain a consistent field presence and perform routine site walkthroughs to verify quality, installation progress, workmanship, and compliance with project documents
- Oversee and validate execution of project-specific QA/QC plans across MEP scopes, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and associated infrastructure
- Support quality oversight for tenant fit-out scopes such as LV switchboards, RPPs, data hall busway, hot aisle containment, CRAHs, power/cooling systems, and related MEP infrastructure
- Coordinate with the General Contractor, MEP subcontractors, commissioning teams, vendors, and owner stakeholders to address quality issues and maintain alignment with turnover milestones
- Review and track QA/QC deliverables in CxAlloy, Procore, and other project systems to ensure required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Support preparatory, preconstruction, initial phase, benchmark, First of Kind, and set-in-place inspections with contractors and project stakeholders
- Assist with L2 equipment inspections, clean walks, pre-energization inspections, and readiness reviews prior to startup and commissioning activities
- Verify that required inspection and test documentation is completed, including pre-startup reports, NETA test reports, torque/megger sheets, arc flash documentation, hydrostatic test reports, flushing reports, point-to-point testing, and startup documentation
- Track and manage quality issues in CxAlloy or similar platforms, ensuring issues are properly assigned, routed, followed up on, and closed in a timely manner
- Manage punchlist tracking and coordinate regular status meetings with contractors and trade partners to drive closure of open quality items
- Physically verify field correction of punchlist items, deficiencies, and open QA/QC observations
- Confirm required equipment labeling, including arc flash labels and other identification requirements, are installed prior to energization or turnover
- Monitor protection of installed equipment and systems during construction to prevent damage, contamination, or degradation prior to turnover
- Support receiving inspections for OFCI and major MEP equipment, verifying documentation, condition, delivery coordination, and readiness for installation
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure equipment delivery, staging, installation, and inspection activities are aligned with construction sequencing and commissioning requirements
- Review submittals, RFIs, procurement logs, QA/QC documentation, and project records to support field quality execution and issue resolution
- Support development and coordination of MOPs, shutdowns, energization activities, and critical work in live or operational environments
- Participate in OAC, field coordination, QA/QC, commissioning, and trade partner meetings, providing updates on quality status, open issues, risks, and required actions
- Track weekly field progress, QA/QC observations, safety metrics, and quality trends for reporting to project leadership and owner stakeholders
- Coordinate with commissioning teams to support L3 documentation completion, L4 readiness, functional testing, and turnover requirements
- Ensure contractor and trade partner activities are executed in accordance with project safety, quality, schedule, and owner requirements
- Identify recurring quality issues, field constraints, or process gaps and work with project leadership to develop corrective actions and continuous improvement measures
- Maintain clear communication with contractors, vendors, commissioning agents, and owner stakeholders to support timely resolution of field issues and successful tenant fit-out delivery

Salary Range
$120,000 - $180,000 USD
