LOCATION:

This role requires on-site presence at our client's location in Issaquah, WA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We’re looking for a dynamic Full Stack Software Engineer to join a newly-formed, fast-moving team focused on IT Sustainability. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills—someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and collaborates effectively across business units to deliver scalable solutions.

In this role, you’ll design and build full-stack solutions from scratch, while also evaluating opportunities to integrate and automate third-party tools to meet business needs efficiently. The ability to adapt quickly, make decisions, and communicate with purpose is key to success in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full-Stack Development: Build and optimize front-end and back-end solutions using React, TypeScript, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Solution Flexibility: Create custom applications from scratch or integrate existing tools to meet business needs efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Take initiative to drive communication and clarity across teams and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Architecture Collaboration: Work with Solution Architects to ensure secure, scalable systems that align with business needs.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Support junior team members through mentorship and peer reviews to improve overall team performance.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Deliver high-quality, scalable code by implementing unit testing, peer reviews, and automation.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Your values:
    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of Fullstack Development experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience building custom solutions and integrating third-party tools.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and handle ambiguity with confidence.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, ensuring clarity on scope and deliverables.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $125,000-$175,000.
  • Work/life balance – we know there’s more to life than work! We encourage our team to pursue other passions, get outside, and spend time with family. We work with clients and consultants to set expectations for a manageable workload.

HOW TO APPLY:

Please fill out the form below (including uploading your most recent resume) and we'll be in touch! We know imposter syndrome can be a barrier to many great applicants. We hope you'll still consider applying. That's why we've made the application process as short and simple as possible.

Even if you're not a fit for the role, you can expect to hear back from us! We want you to have the best experience as a candidate, so please feel free to share feedback at any stage of the process to talent@kallesgroup.com.
