Senior Technical Program Manager - Privacy Software Engineering

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with experience in Software Engineering and the Privacy domain to work within our Client's Privacy team.  You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to assure that the launch of any new products is assessed for proper privacy measures to assure alignment with the client's mission to build customer trust.  If you have product management experience, a knowledge of software engineering, and a passion for privacy, we would love to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineering, product, design, legal, and business leaders to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Remitly, aligning on deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and project timelines.
  • Develop prioritization strategies and create plans with clear milestones, ensuring executive buy-in and smooth execution.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and risks related to the program.
  • Keep partners and leadership informed on progress, changes in scope, and updates to project timelines.
  • Track and analyze product performance, using data to drive ongoing improvements and optimization.
  • Define, report, and monitor key results and performance metrics.
  • Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to streamline processes.
  • Conduct privacy assessments for product launches by partner teams.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management. Privacy domain experience is a plus but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with multiple software engineering teams.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Experience overseeing global programs.
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus!

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000.

LOCATION:

This role requires on-site presence at our client's location in Seattle, WA.
