WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Salesforce Engineer Consultant, you will help our client design, develop, and enhance enterprise Salesforce solutions that support critical customer engagement and business operations. Working as a hands-on engineer, you will leverage both custom development and declarative configuration to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure Salesforce capabilities.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions. You'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from solution design and implementation through deployment, integration, and ongoing platform optimization. Success in this role requires strong Salesforce development expertise, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to balance code-based and configuration-based solutions to maximize business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce solutions using a combination of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative platform capabilities
- Evaluate business requirements and determine the most effective implementation approach using custom development or platform configuration
- Configure and extend Salesforce objects, automation, security models, page layouts, validation rules, and user experiences
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable technical solutions
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to platform architecture decisions
- Develop high-quality, testable code and participate in code reviews and continuous integration practices
- Support release management activities across development, testing, and production environments
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize platform performance, and address technical debt
- Maintain technical documentation, integration designs, and solution architecture artifacts
- Ensure platform security, access controls, and data protection align with enterprise security standards
- Share technical knowledge and mentor other members of the Salesforce delivery team
