We are looking for a skilled, modern and engaging Content Creator to join our team and help us to reimagine and innovate the way we create learning content for our customers. The Karbon Content Creator will be tasked with the creation, editing, and production of high quality written and visual content that engages and attracts target audiences. Content will be developed and presented using various media types and is used to educate and drive adoption and healthy usage of the Karbon system. The Content Creator will follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the Education team to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources. 

Key Responsibilities 

Rapid Content Development:

    • Create and maintain a variety of educational content, including e-learning courseware, process steps/guides, video tutorials etc.
    • Develop engaging and effective onboarding materials to guide new users through the product and drive initial adoption.
    • Develop interactive learning modules and micro-learning experiences for different user segments (e.g., beginners, power users, admins).
    • Craft use case specific documentation and step-by-step tutorials to help users maximize product functionality.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product changes or new features.

Application of Learning Experience Design:

    • Design content with the user experience in mind and following our educational design principles, focusing on clarity, usability, accessibility and speed of execution.
    • Ensure that all content aligns with our overall product and branding guidelines and represents the Karbon brand
    • Drive continuity and consistency in content by following the learning objective matrix and Karbon design map 

Content Optimization & Maintenance:

    • Partner with the Education and Enablement Leader to analyze content performance through customer feedback, KPI metrics, and user behavior data to continually improve and refine content.
    • Use customer feedback to iterate on content and ensure it addresses common pain points or barriers to adoption.
    • Keep content up to date by integrating into the release cycle and solving for product changes/new releases etc. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Engages in the product release process and collaborates with team members to stay up-to-date on product updates and feature releases.  
    • Works with subject matter experts and members of the Customer Team to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content 

Learning Administration and Support 

    • Helps to respond to and triage Academy and customer learning related questions and support needs
    • Helps with LMS related requests (i.e consumption reporting, certification badging etc) 


Key Skills and Qualifications

Required: 

    • 2+ years of experience in educational or marketing content development, technical writing, instructional design, or a similar role—preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
    • Proven ability to create engaging, modern content that drives user participation and adoption of software products.
    • Displays a learning mindset and a passion for staying up to date in industry trends and best practices.
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear, actionable, and engaging content.
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content management platforms.
    • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and adult learning theory 
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

    • Articulate Storyline 360 and/or Adobe Captivate experience 
    • Video Editing Skills 
    • Basic Karbon knowledge/experience 
    • Experience in the accounting/financial industry 
    • AI interest/passion/expérience
