We are looking for top performing, self-starter sales executives with experience and desire to manage all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead qualification, demand creation and closing new business. Our sales team members are located throughout the United Kingdom offering flexibility to work remotely. About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive (AE) in our Small Business Sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities with small to medium-sized businesses. You will own the entire sales process—from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and driving customer success. You’ll also have the opportunity to expand your client base and develop long-term relationships with decision-makers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively drive outbound sales efforts to identify and engage potential clients. This includes using a variety of outreach methods such as email, phone, LinkedIn, and marketing campaigns to secure meetings with key decision-makers. Sales Process
  • Ownership: Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery calls and needs analysis to product demonstrations and closing deals. You will act as a trusted advisor to show prospects the value Karbon brings to modernize their firms and accelerate their growth.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand relationships within accounts, ensuring a personalized experience that caters to client needs. Aim to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships and renewals.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensure timely and accurate updates in Salesforce/Gong, tracking all interactions and next steps. You will be expected to secure next-step meetings and ensure deals are progressing efficiently.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: While you will work independently, you will also collaborate with the broader team, sharing insights, tactics, and strategies that lead to success. As a Senior AE, you may also mentor junior sales staff or help shape team-wide initiatives.
  • Quota Achievement: You will be expected to meet or exceed your sales quotas, driving both individual and team success. This will be accomplished through a combination of your new business efforts, re-engagement strategies, and expansion within existing accounts.

About You!

You thrive in a high-growth environment, are self-motivated, and have a proven track record of success in sales. You bring strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for helping clients solve complex challenges. The ideal candidate is not just experienced in sales, but also has the drive to continuously learn and stay ahead of industry trends.Key qualifications include:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, with a proven track record of success in a quota-carrying position.
  • Sales Expertise: Ability to effectively engage with decision-makers, navigate a consultative sales process, and demonstrate clear value propositions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern sales tools and technology (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, and other CRM/automation tools). Ability to leverage technology to streamline the sales process and maximize efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Drive & Motivation: A results-driven mentality with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets. You are comfortable managing multiple sales opportunities and prioritizing efforts effectively.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience selling to or working with accountants or financial professionals.
