Hotel Operations Internship

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

About Kasa

Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.

Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences. Behind the scenes, we build technology that combines with our innovative operations to grow a globally scalable offering that delivers high-quality stays to guests. Our guests enjoy seamless check-ins, caring service, and attractive amenities — and if anything comes up, our on-site and remote guest experience team is available throughout their stay, ensuring our hospitality is rarely seen but always felt.

The Role

The Operations Intern role is an on-site learning and support position focused on understanding and contributing to the day-to-day operations of The Maverick by Kasa. As an Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple operational departments, including Hospitality and Housekeeping, while supporting the overall guest experience at the property.

Like many hospitality operations roles, there is no “typical day.” Interns will collaborate with on-site team members and Kasa departments to support hotel operations, guest service, cleanliness standards, and operational efficiency. Daily responsibilities may include assisting with guest check-ins and requests, supporting housekeeping operations, maintaining public spaces, conducting property tours, responding to guest needs, coordinating with operational teams, and learning the systems and processes that drive hotel performance.

This internship is designed to provide exposure to hospitality operations through real-world experience in a fast-paced hotel environment. Schedules may vary based on business needs and can include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
