Staff Software Engineer (LATAM)

Remote - Mexico

About Kasa

Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. Kasa has built a hospitality operating system that fundamentally improves the profitability of hospitality assets while delivering a high quality, digitally forward experience to guests. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.

Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences.

The Role

We are looking for a Staff Full-Stack Engineer who will lead the design, development, and ongoing optimization of the critical systems that power our pricing strategies, third-party integrations, and broader operational capabilities at Kasa. In this role, you will take ownership of complex architectural decisions to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs, while also writing high-quality, well-tested code and performing code reviews that set the bar for technical excellence.

As a Staff Engineer, you will take a leadership role in shaping the architecture, mentoring the team, and driving the technical direction of Kasa's internal operational platform. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for one or multiple product areas, coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to scope out ambitious projects, define key objectives, and ensure successful delivery. Beyond project execution, you will help shape the long-term technical roadmap by anticipating future challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and championing best practices.

By taking full responsibility for the systems you oversee, from troubleshooting to performance optimization, you will ensure uninterrupted live operations and help uphold Kasa’s commitment to building a world-class hospitality platform.

About the Team

Our Product & Engineering team spans the United States, Mexico and Hungary. Engineers here come from diverse backgrounds, including hospitality, consulting, real estate, and tech startups. Everyone joined Kasa to contribute to a platform delivering value to landlords while offering trustworthy, well-priced accommodations to guests.

We use an agile, two-week sprint development process and value engineers who add to our culture. Our department is comprised of two teams:

  1. Formula RC (Revenue and Channels): revenue management tooling and third party channel integration, building the data and financial platform to power our operations & technology at scale
  2. Hospitality: building an industry-defining property management system, creating seamless digital experiences for guests, enabling stress-free check-ins and comfortable stays with technology
You are applying for the Formula RC team - interest in F1 is appreciated but not required! We like to keep a light tone, while still getting a lot done.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
