The Role
Kasa's hospitality operations rely on tech-driven tools & systems to deliver a flawless experience for guests, local property partners, and neighbors and help travelers feel at home in a new area. As a member of our onsite team you will experience and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
About the Team
This role is in our Portfolio Operations department. Our mission is to ensure our guests have a seamless in-unit experience. Our team members are located all over the country, have diverse backgrounds, and come from many different industries. Everyone joined Kasa because they are passionate about delivering high-quality standards to ensure that our guests love their experience while staying with Kasa.
A Day in the life of a Kasa Laundry Attendant
As a Laundry Attendant with Kasa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and availability of linens, towels, and other hotel textiles for guest use. Act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
- Operate industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironing machines to clean and process linens, towels, and other textiles.
- Sort, fold, and stack clean linens following established hotel standards to ensure quality and presentation.
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including machinery and storage areas.
- Adhere to proper procedures for handling soiled linens, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of linens and supplies, reporting shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms and other hotel departments.
- Utilize our task management software to complete a checklist for each checklist, and upload the required photos for each area.
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Experience
- Extremely motivated team player with a desire to get things done!
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including identifying issues in the hotel, and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Ability to be flexible, and pivot when necessary.
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.
- You're comfortable lifting objects up to 25-50 pounds and standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day.

- The Pay: The starting base pay range for this role is between $20 and $21 and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes.
