Junior Designer

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Designer to complement our Vancouver office. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects across a variety of market sectors (institutional, healthcare, transportation, and commercial) within an engaging team environment.
Here's what you’ll be doing at Kasian:
- Assist with concept and schematic design
- Assist with site planning and programming
- Create presentation material, including presentation boards, material boards, computer models, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Assist in the preparation of development permit and rezoning submission packages
- Assist in preliminary code and by-law analysis
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents
Here's what you'll bring to Kasian:
- Completion of an M. Arch or B.Arch. degree
- Design aptitude and exceptional design communication skills
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating urban environments
- Proficient with graphic software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3Ds Max); Revit is considered a definite asset
- Team player
- Effective written and verbal communication and time management skills
Salary starts at $55,000+ per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, and skill set.
