As a rapidly growing and profitable company with strong product-market alignment, we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team.As an Account Executive at KatRisk, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by establishing and nurturing key relationships with executives, stakeholders, and decision-makers in relevant industries. Your success in this role will require a consultative approach, persistence, patience, and flexibility to navigate the nuanced landscape of risk modeling. You will be instrumental in executing a repeatable sales process and effectively conveying the unique value proposition of KatRisk to prospects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the KatRisk product and implement a consistent sales approach to acquire new clients.
  • Identify, prioritize, and employ effective techniques to generate leads and build a robust pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools to forecast and track sales activities, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' key business drivers and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all sales opportunities, guiding them through the entire sales cycle.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of KatRisk in every interaction with potential clients.
  • Deliver impactful presentations that highlight the added value of KatRisk's solutions to clients.
  • Engage with various stakeholders within prospective clients, addressing any concerns or objections.
  • Refine and present formal proposals based on client needs and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and provide regular updates to management.
  • Assist in the smooth onboarding process for new clients and facilitate the transition to the Customer Success team.
  • Deliver compelling presentations of KatRisk to stakeholders at all levels within prospect organizations.
  • Build trust and foster long-term relationships with senior executives.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development.
  • Preference for candidates with a background in insurance or financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales quotas and close high-value deals.
  • Familiarity with catastrophe models, risk scoring, or similar processes relevant to risk modeling a plus.
  • Ability to navigate a complex technical deal and execute a solutions based sales process
  • Strong executive presence and capability to engage effectively with senior leaders.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with prospective clients and attend industry events.
  • Ability to align KatRisk's products with market needs and effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Experience in cultivating relationships with executive-level decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a startup environment with a proactive approach to territory management and opportunity development.
  • Proficient in forecasting and reporting, with familiarity in process-driven sales methodologies.
