Product Manager, Mobile (iOS and Android)
Hybrid position: Warschauer Platz 12, 10245 - Berlin, Germany
Note, we are hiring for both an iOS and Android PM in Berlin. These positions are required to work from our office at least three days per week.

The Role:
KAYAK is seeking an expert, analytical and hardworking product manager to join our product team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding our travelers’ needs and translating those needs into a set of flawless and intelligent mobile experiences that our users love!
This position requires a proven understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to iterate on and prioritize features. You are an effective communicator, know how to use quantitative and qualitative data to facilitate discussion, understand how to define and work towards a product direction, successfully drive concepts from business requirements to launch, support and iteration.
In this role, you will:
- Define and communicate priorities for our Android apps to support KAYAK’s product vision and address known gaps in functionality and content offerings
- Collaborate with meta product owners in prioritizing and implementing core search features on the Android app
- Facilitate the ideation, design and implementation of product improvements that solve our users’ problems in significant ways, weighing impact against business goals and technical feasibility
- Define and prioritize user problems and feature specifications across various brands, locales and languages
- Measure the success of product changes and design and pursue relevant metrics and opportunities our data and A/B experiment results might reveal
- Collaborate with customer support and UX to collect feedback from and respond to users in a timely way
- Supervise competitive landscape and staying abreast of the latest mobile technology and capabilities across various platforms
Please apply if you have:
- Proven consumer mind-set with preference for e-commerce and B2C mobile background
- Specific experience in supporting and leading mobile product strategy, including a proven record of championing products and work towards key decisions
- Strong ownership of problems and a proactive approach.
- Demonstrated ability to rely on data for decision-making, complemented by strong intuition.
- Good business judgment, BS/BA required, technical background strongly preferred, MBA or similar experience a strong plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills at all levels of an organization
- High attention to detail and love of numbers is a requirement
- Ability to collaborate with teams across different cultures and timezones
- A regular traveler and appreciative to the challenges our users encounter
