Position Overview

In this role you will be expected to work from our Kaunas office at least 3 days per week.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to mission-critical projects focused on enhancing KAYAK’s affiliate integrations, geographical data, translation processes, and feedback products.
- Take initiative in designing and implementing new services and workflows, investigating and proposing effective solutions, while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Collaborate directly with your team as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Take ownership of delivered solutions and ensure KPI-driven development.
- Work with stakeholders across diverse locations, including Boston, Berlin, and Sydney.
Please apply if you have:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or nearing completion.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and React.
- Hands-on experience with any relational databases.
- Understanding of SOLID and OOP.
- Familiarity with source control systems and code testing practices.
- Willingness to learn and grow by exploring new languages, frameworks, tools, and technologies.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing contexts.
- A genuine passion for code quality and testing.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of industry-standard design patterns.
- Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes (K8s).
- Understanding of deployment pipelines.
