Superintendent - Paving

Keeley Construction is looking for a Superintendent for our Paving Division.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervision: Oversee all field crew members, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers.

  • Project Planning: Develop site logistics plans and coordinate construction methods and sequencing with project managers.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Safety: Promote a safe job site, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.

  • Scheduling: Manage daily project schedules and coordinate delivery and inspection of materials.

  • Maintenance: Execute and oversee maintenance and repair work on paving projects.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and site documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of field experience in asphalt and concrete paving.

  • Education/Certifications (Preferred but not required):

    • Degree in Construction Management or related field

    • ADA Certification

    • OSHA 30

    • MoDOT Certifications (including Superpave, Concrete Field)

    • SWPPP Certification

    • Technical drawing aptitude and ability to shoot elevations

    • Experience with nuclear gauge testing.
