Keeley Construction is seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundman to join our Paving Group in Charlotte, NC. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, grading surfaces, and preparing soil for landscaping or construction activities. 
  • Perform general landscaping duties such as planting, mulching, installing sod, trimming vegetation, and assisting with basic irrigation work. 
  • Operate small tools and equipment including shovels, rakes, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Help set up and maintain jobsite safety measures such as cones, barricades, and signage.
  • Support the crew by loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor (preferred).
  • Familiarity with landscaping tools, equipment, and basic safety procedures.
  • Physically able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and perform manual labor.
